There have been very few times where I've watched a documentary and it completely changed my mindset about the highlighted subject. Food, Inc. [available on Netflix] helped me wake up to the realities of contemporary farming practices, and this weekend, while browsing through my recommendations from Netflix, I stumbled upon Hungry For Change. Whoaaa, brother. It was a much needed slap in the face regarding our/my nutritional consumption habits, or lack thereof.

The film broke down the details about diets and how our bodies were created to function, sugar addictions, the dangers of artificially manufactured preservatives and other random chemicals floating around in our packaged foods. I went out that day and found something green and leafy to have for lunch, and I've been telling people about the documentary ever since. It's well worth every 90 minutes of anyone's time.
