Toward the end of last year, I found myself making too many trips to Dunkin'/Starbucks/local shops for my morning caffeine fix.

The drip coffee at home wasn't doing it for me anymore, and the "stovetop espresso" still didn't satisfy me like a proper shot from an espresso machine.

So, I took the plunge and bought a machine for my own kitchen and have been using regular, store bought espresso grounds while I practiced my shot-pulling technique. I knew there'd be a learning curve, and I didn't want to waste good beans while I figured it out. But now that I've got the hang of it, I'm ready to venture out and try some higher quality coffee.

That brought be back to Tuesday

There's about an hour of time each day where the sun pokes through our patio door and creates a sliver of sunlight in our living room. Raven loves to lay in it and sunbathe when the boys are off doing their own thing in their room, but lately, Gabriel has been strategically placing toys in her sunspot.

Honestly, same.

Feels so good to go on lunch dates again.
