I debated on whether or not I should even write this post, because podcasts are definitely in right now, and there are so many "favorite podcasts" posts out there already. However, none of those lists include any of my favorites, so I thought I'd share anyway.

So let's talk about hormones, today (both natural and artificial).
Fellas, if you're out there reading this, now is not the time to click away. Chances are, you have a wife, girlfriend, mother, aunt, and/or friend who can relate to some of the things I say here, and trust me, as a woman, it's nice to have a man around who actually tries to understand a woman's hormonal struggles.
Ladies... LADIES, can I get a collective amen when I say hormones can sometimes feel like they're taking over your world? It's frustrating, annoying, and often uncontrollable, but I'm on a journey to master mine, so keep reading if you're interested in my story. Warning: it's a long one.

Almost exactly three years ago, I wrote a list of 30 things I want to do/accomplish before my 30th birthday - my 30 before 30. It's time to check in on this list since I've put a nice dent in it. By the end of the year, I should be halfway there!
It's worth noting that I really wanted a fresh and fun selfie to accompany this update, but I keep missing that magical hour in the day, where the sun shines through your windows just right, kinda like it did in the selfie that accompanies my original 30 before 30 post. So I just had to pull one from the archives and place it here.
(It's also worth noting that my selfie game is not on point) (Can I even call myself a blogger)
But back to the update. Each "done!" below is linked back to the corresponding blog post, if I blogged about it.
Let's jump in!

Fact: I used to live within walking distance of this spot, and then we up and moved, and then I discovered this gem.
I don't know what it is about summer sixteen, but I've been all about the breweries! The Stout Brothers is actually considered a "Beer Market," and thanks to city regulation, they can't offer standard tastings. They can only let you try six 2 oz. pours in a day, but if you already have an idea of what you like, that should be all you need. Honestly, the pint-sized "tastings" other breweries offer is often too much for me. Either I end up being very wasteful or I completely tap out after the second glass. I'm here to enjoy the flavors - not to get toasted.
