party it up!

We made it! 

We spent New Year's Eve cleaning house, taking down the Christmas tree, decluttering closets (how do closets get so cluttered so quickly??), and buying Christmas decorations since they were 60-75% off today. The total for about ten ornaments, two stockings, and a mantle was only ~$20. I'm never buying Christmas decorations during the Christmas season again! I'll always wait until after the holiday has passed for the year.

But enough about Christmas. We're officially in 2017 in this timezone, and honestly, I don't really have much to say about it. I'll probably spend the day in the house on the sofa with a face mask, hair mask, a book, and a made-for-tv movie playing in the background. I should also mention that I'm typing this at home in real-time, since my NYE plans fell through. 

On December 31st, 2017, I'm determined to party it up!
