It seems as though i'm late to this party.

CeeLo released this Heart Blanche about a year and a half ago, and I'm just now catching the vibe. But that vibe is solid. I've always loved the way CeeLo arranges melodies, and the tracks here meet every expectation.

Now i know he's been problematic in the past, but since we often look past the personal problems of our favorite artists to enjoy their craft, especially when it comes to music (Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, Chris Brown, etc.), I've had this album on repeat lately.

My favorite songs are "Est. 1980s," "Mother May I," and "Sign of the Times."

  1. LMAO that comment about overlooking personal problems of our favorite artists made me laugh out loud because it's soooo true.

    1. sad, but true. we just love good art no matter who's making it!

  2. I haven't listened to Ceelo since the whole F* you song. There was this amazing mixtape that he released a while back, maybe 2010 or 2011 that I absolutely LOVED. I may have to give this one a listen. He is definitely a talented guy.
