- Drinking the most water I have ever drank in my life. Breastfeeding is making me thirstier than ever this time around. BUT. Every morning I've been waking up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee, and it's absolutely heaven. Water, coffee, wine, repeat.

- I came home from the hospital with my newborn and it was like my toddler had grown two feet in two days. When did he get so big? When did he get so heavy? He looks like he should be cooking his own meals and paying taxes at this point.

- 'Round the clock feedings mean I know when all the old sitcoms come on which channels during the wee hours of the morning and throughout the day. I've watched more Facts of Life, The Nanny, Amen, 227, Steve Harvey Show, Good Times, Walker Texas Ranger in the past two weeks than I have in my entire adult life. For some reason, the old sitcoms feel more comforting than watching some new series on Netflix. Maybe it's because the decision factor is removed? I don't have to scroll and research to choose something to watch. I just flip through channels until something looks interesting, and honestly, the late night commercials are just as entertaining as the actual shows. I feel like this season of life will always be marked by life alert and colonial penn life insurance adverts.

- Choosing analog over digital. I've got about five rolls to get developed when I find the time, so more 35mm posts are on the way.

- Stressing less since I was finally able to sign my mom up for the COVID vaccine. She's already got her first dose, and the second has been scheduled. It hasn't been easy to schedule vaccine appointments in Georgia, so that's one less thing weighing on my mind.

- Thankful for everyone who bought and sent us something from our little baby registry! I feel the love. ❤️

- Still frustrated with Blogger’s new “updated” platform. It's is so buggy. It takes multiple extra steps for tasks I used to do in one click, the preview function only works when it wants, and there’s minimal support when you actually need some help. I’ve been blogging here for 9 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever considered moving to a different platform.

- Looking forward to longer daylight hours and evening walks with the dog.
