No Good Deed? they used all the typical tropes, and it had me so frustrated!! but i mean... i still watched. 🤷🏾♀️Chantelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18067983623857538831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6154604354357015024.post-78949180354635654262020-08-17T19:01:25.386-04:002020-08-17T19:01:25.386-04:00thanks boo. i loooooooove scary movies so much. i ...thanks boo. i loooooooove scary movies so much. i used to force my friends to watch them during sleepovers. but yeah, def give Carmen Jones a watch!Chantelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18067983623857538831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6154604354357015024.post-74873485927381194652020-08-17T12:07:15.238-04:002020-08-17T12:07:15.238-04:00I absolutely love your list! There is also Jacob's Ladder, with Michael Ealy, Jesse Williams, and Nicole Beharie (who I think deserves way more airtime). Breaking In, starring Gabrielle Union and Ajiona Alexus, is another one. I've been really excited that we've started to really break into the horror/thriller genres. We started off a little shaky with it but I think we're getting better with time.Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02989953845648764538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6154604354357015024.post-48916499389851776422020-08-05T02:30:00.585-04:002020-08-05T02:30:00.585-04:00I love this post so much! I...Oh my word, this was such a good and meaty post! I'm sure it took you weeks to put it together. As I read along, I was mentally tallying up how many on the list I've watched and enjoyed. My favorites are (in no particular order): Two Can Play That Game, Deliver Us From Eva, Love Jones, The Best Man, Bad Boys, Soul Food, Love & Basketball, A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, Waiting to Exhale, Friday (all of 'em), Set It Off, and How to be a Player. Can you believe I only saw Boomerang for the first time this year? Also, never watched: Tales from the Hood, Vampire in Brooklyn, Carmen Jones, The Five Heartbeats, and A Low Down Dirty Shame?? Please don't take my Black card - haha!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
